Meet Wes
Im a Tattoo Artist & The Founder of Lightwork Tattoo. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
I’ve been obsessed with visual art my entire life - from drawing looney tunes characters as a kid, to Airbrushing tees and painting murals while attending the Art Institute of Atlanta.
The biggest influences in my work are Japanese Ukiyo-e prints, 60’s - 90’s Black fashion and music, Graffiti, poster design, vintage floral illustrations, Aaron Douglas, Akira Toriyama, and Alphonse Mucha.
I’ve been tattooing for 15 years, focusing mostly on medium to large-scale graphic work in Japanese, Afro-Americana, American Traditional, and Illustrative tattoo styles.
In 2023, I established Lightwork Tattoo Studio in Sandy Springs. My goal as a tattoo artist is to create bold, timeless tattoos in a comfortable environment, so my clients receive compliments on their art everywhere they go.
